Picture

Here at Lifelong Wellness, our mission is to eliminate violence in our world within three generations by creating a culture of self-care that starts with the body.  We aim to put lasting health back into your hands by helping you get in touch with the needs of your body, mind, and emotions and creating habits of self-care. We strive to be a model for the culture of self-care by taking excellent care of ourselves and our team and by supporting our clients to do the same.

Personal Testimony ~Adam Bucci

I came to Lifelong Wellness seeking the possibility of a pain-free life. For 10 years I struggled with chronic back pain, with no lasting sense of relief in sight. Physical therapy, acupuncture, chiropractics, osteopaths, massage, personal strength training, and copious Epsom salt baths all helped manage the side effects, but the root of the problem remained elusive. I was tired of using my desk job as an excuse to not fully participate with life, living each day with some level of fear around bodily injury. One day, it occurred to me that if I could spend less energy trying to be well, and simply be well instead, I could enjoy more from life.
Adinah is an extremely talented body worker and deeply intuitive healer. Our first session began with a comprehensive assessment of how I was feeling, where I’d like to grow, and what services she could provide for me. This upfront and clear understanding of what was to come eased all anxiety around future expectations, and gave hope that my goal of a pain-free existence was not only possible, but probable!
Each session brought insight into why my body was holding tension and how to release it. I was educated on anatomy, proper bio-mechanics, and how pain in one area is often times the result of an imbalance elsewhere. This model of inter connectivity was supported with take-home exercises that helped strengthen the mind-body connection in-between visits.
In addition to deep tissue massage work, I was fluidly guided through the process of letting go not just in body, but in mind and spirit as well. This holistic approach tapped into a fuller range of healing I was not yet accustomed to. It was through this newfound awareness that ultimately lead to the release of tension and the relief I’d been looking for ever since my first date with chronic back pain.
Thank you Adinah – for opening my eyes, mind, heart and ears to listen to my body and finally take responsibility for it. Your practice continues to inspire me daily and I am forever grateful for your work. I now live a more kinesiological aware life with less pain than ever before, which has freed up more space and energy for me to live out my passions compassionately. To all seekers of well-being through balanced livelihood, struggling to see past their blind spots and source of pain, I feel for you – and hope that Adinah may shed some light on your sincerest troubles.
